The application period for the Federal Labor Government’s Creative Stars grants program has been extended until Wednesday 26 June 2013. Creative Young Stars aims to provide grant assistance to young Australians, aged 25 years and under, to further their creative and artistic pursuits in the same way that grants are given to young sports men and women. Grants of $500 for individuals or $3000 for groups are available.

There are four broad categories of activity which will be considered for these grants:

  • Creative and Performing Arts
  • Cultural Activities
  • Academic Endeavour
  • School and Community Achievement.

Applicants must to provide a letter of support or selection from a representative of an endorsing organisation such as a school, training, arts or community organisation. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
